“Technology doesn’t make a community. It’s about enhancing the human spirit, using the power of technology to respond to the human need for communication and expression.”

My name is Monica (formerly known as Jenny). I’m a content designer, strategist, and writer who loves using the power of language and technology to enhance the human spirit.
I have more than 8 years of experience designing effective content across multiple touchpoints. These include onboarding flows, re-engagement emails, and even handing out pamphlets at a busy intersection—a terrifying career highlight.
Titles and keywords aside, I care a lot about people.
I thrive when I craft content that helps people feel like they belong to a supportive community. And I work best with people who value collective care, mutual respect, clear communication, candor over comfort, and deep dives into research and data. Making each other laugh doesn’t hurt, too.
I’ve planted my love for growing community-centered content with the amazing teams at Propel, the MinKwon Center, Quiet Revolution, Blue State, and Barrel.
